Sks Ispat & Power Ltd. is situated in a very quiet place called Vill-Anauni. This is in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. Our office is right there in the village, near the post office. Being in a rural area like Anauni means we are close to the local workers and the land. We manage the steel and power interests from this base. The office is a basic building that fits into the village surroundings. We do not have any high-rise views, just the local roads and the houses of the villagers. Getting here takes some time because you have to drive through the district roads of Ghazipur. It is a practical location for our operations. Most of the staff knows everyone in the area, so it feels like a community. We deal with a lot of manual records and local coordination. The electricity can be a bit patchy sometimes, which is ironic for a power company, but we make do with what we have. It is an honest, hardworking atmosphere where the focus is on the job at hand rather than looking polished. We are just a local part of the Ghazipur landscape, doing our part in the steel industry.
