Saqib Coffee Shop

Saqib Coffee Shop is out in Village Sidhari, along Mau Road. We are pretty easy to spot because we’re near Dr. L J Yadav Hospital. Being near a hospital means we see a lot of tired people. Families waiting on news or doctors taking a quick break often end up sitting at our tables. It’s a simple shop, nothing too fancy. We just have what you need to get through a long afternoon. The road outside is always busy with trucks and cars, so there’s a bit of noise, but people don't seem to mind. We started this because there wasn't a good place to just sit for a minute in this part of Sidhari. It’s a small operation. I usually handle most things myself, with a bit of help when it gets crowded. I don’t use a lot of fancy equipment. It’s just traditional ways of making coffee that I learned a long time ago. The floor is concrete, and the chairs are plastic, but it’s a place where anyone can feel welcome. Sometimes we run out of sugar or the milk man is late, and we just have to explain it to the customers. They usually understand because they live around here too. It’s a quiet life despite the road noise, and we’re happy to be here for the village. We hope people feel a bit better after they leave than they did when they walked in.
