Sai Steel Industries

If you find yourself on Ghazipur Road, near the Badanpur Chauraha, you’ll probably see us. We are tucked in right near Chander Dev Mor Inter College. It’s a lively spot because of all the students walking by during the day. Our place isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just Sai Steel Industries, where we deal with all sorts of metalwork every single day. We open up early before the traffic gets too heavy at the crossroads. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea and looking over what needs to be cut or loaded. The machines make a lot of noise, which probably isn't great for the college nearby, but everyone is used to it by now. We have a small group of guys who have been here for a long time. We don't use fancy software or have a big lobby. It’s mostly just grease, steel, and a lot of manual labor. When the weather gets dusty, we just keep the doors open anyway to get some breeze. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We see the same faces every week coming in for materials. We don't really advertise or anything. Being at the chauraha means people know we are here. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights sometimes, especially when a big order comes in. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the steel.
