Ramawati Foods

If you ever find yourself out on the Ghazipur-Azamgarh Road, you might pass by Lediha Village. That’s where Ramawati Foods is set up. We are right by the Lediha Post Office in the Jakhania Block of the Ghazipur District. It’s a rural area, so things move a little slower than they do in the big cities. We like it that way. Most of the people working here are from the village itself or just a short bike ride away. We handle a lot of food products, mostly stuff that comes from the local farms around here. The building isn't much to look at, just a plain structure that keeps the rain off the stock. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we try to get most of the heavy work done before noon. You can hear the goats and cows from the neighboring fields sometimes. It’s a far cry from a fancy corporate office. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. We just have our hands and the products we make. People know where the post office is, so they usually find us without any trouble. Life in Jakhania Block is simple. We follow the seasons and make sure the food is handled properly. It’s honest work, and it keeps the village going in its own small way without any fuss.
