Our work happens in the village of Goraur, which is in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. To find us, you have to take the Latthudih Marg, specifically the road that goes towards Kotwa Narayanpur. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. The office is just a plain building in the village where we handle the records for the company. We don't have a lot of staff, so the people you see working here are the same ones you might see at the local market or on the road in the evenings. The summer heat in Ghazipur can be quite something, so we usually have the fans going all day long. We spend a lot of time dealing with physical papers and registers because that is what works best in this setting. People from Goraur and the surrounding villages often stop by just to ask a question or to finish some paperwork they have pending. It is a very humble setup. We don't use any fancy technology or have a decorated lobby for guests. It is just desks, chairs, and the sound of the village outside the window. Being on the Latthudih Marg means we see a lot of tractors and local transport passing by at all hours. We try to keep things organized and helpful for the people who rely on us in this corner of the Ghazipur district. It is simple work.
