Gs Handicraft

Gs Handicraft is located in Paharpur Kalan. This is where we do all our work. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is good for what we do. We’ve been here in Paharpur Kalan for a long time, and we know the place well. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our hours. It’s filled with tools and materials, and it isn't always the tidiest place, but that’s just the nature of making things by hand. We aren't a big factory or a corporate entity. We are just local people working with our hands every day. Sometimes we have a lot of orders to get through and the place is buzzing. Other times, we are just slowly working on one piece at a time. We don't really have a fancy showroom. If you come visit us, you see the actual work happening. It feels more real that way. People from around the village and even further away know us because we’ve been here so long. We just stick to what we know and try to do a decent job with every item we finish. Paharpur Kalan is a good spot for us because it’s where we grew up. We don’t see any reason to move. We just keep our heads down and get on with the crafting. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We like the rhythm of the work here. That’s what Gs Handicraft is all about.
