Maa Durga Dental Clinic

We are over here in Chahniya, specifically quite close to Maa Khandwari Mahavidyalaya. If you are walking around the college area, you’ll probably see our sign. It is just a regular place where we spend most of our days looking at teeth and talking to the folks from around here. The street can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, and there’s usually a lot of noise from the students walking back and forth from the Mahavidyalaya. We have a few chairs in the waiting area that aren't anything special, but they do the job. Sometimes we run a bit behind because a conversation with a neighbor goes on longer than planned, but that is just how it is in Chahniya. Our clinic isn’t one of those big, shiny glass buildings you see in the city. It’s more of a practical spot where people come when they have a toothache or just need someone to take a look. We keep a small kettle for tea in the back, and the smell of it often fills up the front room by mid-afternoon. There’s a lot of traffic on the road outside, mostly bikes and the occasional tractor, which makes it feel like we’re right in the middle of everything. We’ve been here long enough that most people know where to find us without needing a map. It’s just us doing our work every day.
