Dildar Nagar is where we set up Jagprasad Pharmaceuticals Privatelimited. The address is C/O Jagdish Prasad Gupta, right in Ward No. 5. It is one of those areas where everyone kind of knows where everything is, so we don't need big signs. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have a few rooms where we keep the stock and a small area for the desk work. It’s mostly about keeping track of the medicine batches and making sure the local shops get what they need. Some mornings are slow, especially when it rains and the street gets a bit muddy. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we check the ledger books. There is a lot of writing involved, keeping everything noted down by hand sometimes because it’s just easier that way. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or anything like that. If someone comes by, we just pull up a plastic chair and talk. The building has been around for a long time, and it feels like a home as much as an office. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. Dealing with pharma products means we have to be careful with the expiry dates and storage, so we spend a good chunk of our afternoon just checking the labels. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
