Gauri India Micro Services Foundation

We are located at Shop No. 2, right in the Dharmshala area within the Nagar Palika shopping complex. It is a busy little corner of the world. Most days start with us unlocking the metal shutter and sweeping out a bit of the dust that blows in from the street. The shop isn't very large, but it serves its purpose for the foundation. We have a few old wooden chairs for anyone who needs to sit down while we talk. The address is 232104, which most people around here know by heart anyway. Life at the complex is predictable. You hear the same sounds of the market waking up every morning. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns being here. Sometimes the heat gets pretty bad in the afternoon, so we keep a small fan running in the corner. It makes a clicking noise, but we are used to it. People stop by to ask for help with paperwork or just to see what we are doing. We don't have a fancy sign or anything. Just the name on the door and our desks inside. It is a simple place where we keep our files and do our daily tasks. Most of the people who come in are neighbors from the local area. We’ve known some of them for years. It’s just how things are at our foundation. It isn't a corporate office, just a shop where we spend our time.
