Out here in Ghazipur, things move at a bit of a different pace. Our place is listed at No. 0, which sounds funny but that's just how the records go. We handle cooling towers for various setups around Uttar Pradesh. It's a lot of driving between sites most days. We keep our gear ready to go in the back of the van. The summers here get really intense, so if a tower goes down, it’s a big problem for the guys running the machines. We’ve seen all sorts of issues over the years. Sometimes it's just a clogged filter, other times the whole motor has packed up and needs a total overhaul. We don't have a flashy front desk or a secretary. Usually, there's just someone there to answer the phone while the rest of us are out in the field. It’s hard work and your hands stay dirty, but it feels good to see a system start humming again. We don't talk much about goals or visions. We just focus on the task at hand. If someone calls from nearby, we try to get there as soon as we can. It’s a local business, run by local people. We know the area well and we know how the weather affects the cooling systems. That’s pretty much all there is to it. We just keep the water moving and the air flowing. Sometimes the mud makes the site work difficult, but we manage. We aren't a huge corporation, just a team that knows their way around a cooling fan.
