Executive

I’m located in Vill-Garawa, which is near the post office in Pahasa, in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. The pin code here is 221705. Being an Executive in a place like this is probably different than what people think. It’s not about suits and glass buildings. It’s about being part of the local community and handling business matters right here in the village. Garawa is a quiet place for the most part, though the mornings can be lively with people heading out to the fields or to the local market. My office is a simple room where I keep my records and do my planning. I spend a lot of time talking to people from the surrounding areas. In Mau, you have to know your neighbors to get anything done. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, and I usually have stacks of it on my table. I don’t have a staff of twenty people. It’s mostly just me and sometimes a helper if things get really busy. The road to Pahasa isn't always the best, especially after the rains, so you have to plan your travel carefully. I’ve lived around here most of my life, so I’m used to the way things work. It’s a steady way of living. I start my day early when the air is still cool and finish up when the sun goes down. It’s just honest work in a place I know well and where I feel comfortable.
