We are situated out in Vill. Nasirpur, which comes under the Post Basila area in the Chandauli district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main parts of Uttar Pradesh, but it’s where we do our bit for Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd Kolkata. Being near the border of the state means we see a lot of different people coming through the area. The village life is quiet, and Nasirpur is just a small, simple place. We don’t have a lot of the noise and smog you find in the middle of Kolkata. The air here is a bit thicker with dust from the local roads. We handle the steel stuff that moves through this specific part of the region. It’s mostly about making sure the loads are right and the paperwork is signed off. We have a small office, nothing too big or modern. Just some wooden desks and old ceiling fans that hum all day long. Chandauli-232104 is the code we use for all our mail. People around here know us as the steel people. We aren't big on having long meetings or fancy presentations. We just sit down, look at the books, and talk to the drivers who come in. Sometimes the heavy rain makes the roads very messy, and things get delayed for a day or two. We don't worry too much about it, we just wait for the ground to dry. It's an honest living out here in the village. It is what it is.
