Ajhar Kirana Store

Ajhar Kirana Store is right on the Ghazipur Mau Road, which is part of National Highway-29. We are located in the Sadar area of Beli Bazar. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Allahabad Bank branch. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing through, as well as the locals who live just behind the market. Our store is a typical kirana shop. We stock a bit of everything that people need for their daily lives. We have lentils, rice, soap, and all sorts of household items sitting on the shelves. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible. I usually sit near the front to help whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s a truck driver looking for a snack, and other times it’s a neighbor needing sugar for their tea. We don’t have a website or any fancy ordering system. People just come in, ask for what they want, and we get it for them. The noise from the highway is something you just stop hearing after a while. It’s a busy life, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We keep the lights on until late to make sure everyone can get what they need. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy and we know most people here.
