Abhilash Clinic

Madipakkam is always busy these days and our clinic is right in the middle of all that noise. We are tucked away in the neighborhood where things feel a bit more local compared to the main city roads. Most days start with the sound of scooters passing by and neighbors heading out for work. Inside the clinic, we’ve got a small space where people come when they have a fever or just need a checkup. It’s not a big corporate building, just a simple place for the folks living around here. There is a lot of dust from the roads sometimes so we spend a good amount of time keeping the floors wiped down. The waiting area has a few old magazines and some chairs that have seen better days but they do the job. We see a lot of the same families coming back year after year. You get to know who has kids in school and who is retired. It feels less like a workplace and more like just being part of the Madipakkam community. Some afternoons are quiet when it’s too hot for anyone to be out, but things pick up again when the sun goes down. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just the name on the door. It’s just a regular spot where people can walk in when they aren't feeling their best. It is just how things are in this part of Chennai.
