Yasoda Hospital

Yasoda Hospital is located in Nehru Nagar. It’s a regular neighborhood and we are a regular hospital. We don’t have any of those big glass elevators or fancy fountains in the lobby. It’s a plain building where we do our work. Nehru Nagar is a place where people know their neighbors, and we’ve become part of that. We see a lot of the same people coming back when they have a cough or a bump. The morning shift starts early and we spend a lot of time just getting everything ready before the first patient shows up. The hallways aren't very wide, so we have to be careful when moving things around. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here and being open when people need us. Sometimes the phones ring too much and other times it’s quiet for an hour. It’s unpredictable, but that’s the nature of this work. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant job. We’re just local people working in a local spot. There’s no mystery to it. We don't use big words or try to sound like we are from a big city medical center. We are just Yasoda Hospital in Nehru Nagar, doing what we can every day. It's just simple work.
