Yashoda Hospital

Our hospital is located in Nehru Nagar, right near the Kutami metro station. Being so close to the metro makes it easy for people to reach us without having to deal with the local traffic too much. We also have the Heart Institute here, so we see a lot of specialized cases. The building is quite large and we’ve got a lot of activity going on across the different floors. It’s not the quietest place, but that’s because we’re always working. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big mission statements. We just focus on the patients who are in the beds right now. The staff works in shifts, so there’s always someone around, even in the middle of the night. You’ll see doctors in the hallways and nurses at their stations, just doing their regular jobs. We try to keep things simple for the families who are stressed out. We explain things in plain English and try to be as helpful as we can. It’s a tough job running a heart institute and a super specialty hospital, but we’ve been doing it for a while. We know the routine. People come here because they need help, and we do our best to provide that help in a straightforward way. We’re just a bunch of people working to keep this place running for the community. Sometimes the elevators are slow, but we are working on that. We just want to get through the day knowing we helped.
