Our place, Vijaynclinic Maternity And Ultrasound Centre, is located at h-167 in Sector 23 of Ghaziabad. We’ve been here in this part of Sector 23 for quite a while now. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads. Most of our work involves checking on expectant mothers and doing ultrasound scans. We have the ultrasound machine in a back room where it’s a bit darker and more private. The waiting area has some magazines and enough chairs for the husbands and mothers who come along. Being a maternity center, we see a lot of nervous first-time parents and some who have been through it all before. The clinic isn't very large, but we’ve organized it so there is a flow from the front desk to the exam rooms. We try to keep the appointments on time, but babies and pregnancies don't always follow a clock, so sometimes things run late. We don't have any big signs or posters everywhere. It’s just a plain clinic on a regular street. People find us because they live in Ghaziabad or were told to come here by someone they know. We just go about our business day by day. It’s a lot of paperwork and looking at screens, but it’s the work we do. We’re just a small local spot in the middle of Sector 23. The street outside has some trees and it’s usually easy to find a spot. We like being in Sector 23 because it feels like a real community.
