Vijay Traders

Vijay Traders is situated at No. 352 in Mukand Nagar. We are right opposite the Sri Kesri Mata Mandir on Patel Marg. Being across from the temple means we hear the bells and the music throughout the day, which is actually quite nice. It gives the place a calm feeling even when we’re busy. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden counters and shelves that have been here as long as I can remember. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; a lot of our notes are still written by hand in big ledgers. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. The area is always full of people, especially on festival days, so getting deliveries in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We have to time it just right or the truck gets stuck in the crowd. We aren't looking to expand into some massive company. We’re happy right where we are on Patel Marg. We know the regular customers by name, and they know us. Sometimes someone will just stop in to say hello or ask for directions. We don't mind. We aren't in a hurry to get anywhere. We just keep the doors open and see what the day brings. It’s a steady kind of life, and we’re grateful for the community around us here in Mukand Nagar. There’s a certain comfort in knowing your neighbors and your workspace so well.
