Akshaya Traders

We run Akshaya Traders out of House No. 476 in Krishna Nagar, right in the middle of Vijay Nagar. It is a residential street, so there are kids playing outside and neighbors chatting across the fences while we are trying to load up the scooters for deliveries. The house isn't just a home; it’s where we keep the inventory and do all the paperwork on the kitchen table sometimes. It gets a bit chaotic when a big shipment arrives and we have to stack everything in the front hallway. We have been here for a long time, so everyone knows where Akshaya Traders is located even if the sign is a bit small and faded. The porch is usually full of empty boxes waiting to be recycled. It isn't a professional warehouse with high ceilings or fancy equipment. It is just us and a few helpers making sure things get where they need to go. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the house and makes it really warm, so we usually move the work to the back room where it is cooler. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. It’s a simple way to run a business without all the extra fuss you see in the city center.
