Vertex Tool Technology

Vertex Tool Technology is located at A-56 in Section A-4 of Tronica City. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but once you’re in the industrial area, you see rows of sheds and factories just like ours. The air always has that faint smell of machine oil and cut metal, which is something you just get used to after the first week. Our space is filled with the various machines we use for our tool work. There’s no fancy showroom here; just the equipment and the benches where the work happens. The floor is often covered in small metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening. We have a small corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we handle the billing and talk to the guys who come by for pickups. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof during the peak of summer, so we have a few big pedestal fans blowing all the time. The workers mostly live nearby and we’ve all known each other for years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just make sure the tools are made and the machines are kept running. Most days involve a lot of checking measurements and making sure nothing is vibrating that shouldn't be. It’s simple, honest work in a dusty part of the city. We close up around six and the commute back home is usually quite long for everyone.
