You will find us on Mandir Mewari Road in the Vijay Nagar area. We run a shop that handles gifts and various cosmetic products. The road outside is usually quite busy with scooters and people walking to and from the nearby houses. Our shop is not very large, but we have managed to fit a lot of shelves inside. Most of our time is spent standing or sitting near the front door. Vijay Nagar has a lot of people, so there is always someone passing by. A big marketing plan doesn't exist for us. We just rely on being on a road that people use every day. The building we are in is quite old and simple. All the cleaning and the heavy lifting of boxes when new stock arrives is done by us. It can get pretty warm in the summer months, but we just keep the fan running and stay busy. We know most of the people who live on this street. Some of them have been coming to us for their cosmetics for a long time. It is a very direct and honest way to make a living. No corporate language or fancy meetings happen here. It is just us, the shop, and the items we sell to our neighbors on Mandir Mewari Road. We try to keep the windows clean so people can see what is new on the shelves.
