Vaishali Design Studio

Our studio is located at House No- 199 in Sector-2C, Vasundhra. It is a quiet residential part of Ghaziabad, which we quite like. We have been working from this spot for a long time now. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular house where we have set up our design space. Inside, you will mostly see rolls of fabric, some half-finished sketches on the tables, and a couple of sewing machines that stay busy most of the day. The sunlight comes in through the front window in the mornings and it is a good place to think about patterns. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with the local vendors, but mostly it is just the sound of the machines running. We are not a big fancy showroom with glass windows and bright lights. It is just a place where the actual work happens. People from the neighborhood usually just drop by when they need something made or designed. We often have tea while discussing what needs to be done. It is a very simple way of doing things. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the work. We have seen Vasundhra grow so much since we first started here. There are more shops now, but our little corner in Sector-2C stays pretty much the same. It is a comfortable place for us to be creative without any of the corporate pressure.
