Our spot is in Chikamber Pur, which is right in Ghaziabad. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty dusty with all the construction and the big vehicles moving through. We are part of the Transport Corporation of India. This office handles a lot of the local coordination. It isn't a quiet job. There is always someone coming in with a manifest or asking about a delivery time. The office itself is pretty simple. We have some wooden chairs and a few computers that have seen better days. The Uttar Pradesh weather keeps us on our toes, especially when the fog hits in the winter and everything slows down. We spend our mornings checking the logs. It’s mostly just making sure the trucks are where they need to be. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is just the sound of the ceiling fan. We've got a lot of history in this building. People come and go, drivers stop by for a quick chat before heading back out on the road. It’s a lot of practical work. We don't use big words here. We just talk about kilometers and fuel and timing. It’s just how the transport business works in a place like Ghaziabad. We keep things going as best as we can every day. No bells and whistles.
