The Time Gallary

The Time Gallary is located inside Shyam Market in Mahmoodpur. It is a small shop, but we have a lot of clocks and watches packed into it. If you walk into the market, you will find us easily enough. The area is usually bustling with people buying groceries or clothes. We have been part of this community for several years now. The shop is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we move around. We spend a lot of time polishing the glass on the display cases. Dust seems to find its way in no matter what we do. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly. Sometimes we listen to the radio to keep the silence away. People in Mahmoodpur are generally nice, and they stop in to ask the time or get a battery changed. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and help people keep track of their day. The lighting in Shyam Market isn't the best, so we brought in some extra lamps for our counter. It makes the place feel a bit more like home. In the evenings, when the market starts to wind down, it gets quite peaceful here. We pack up slowly and lock the gate. It is a simple routine, and we are quite used to it by now. It is a good little shop.
