Techno Habitat

Techno Habitat is situated at Khasara No. 697 in the Duhai Industrial Area, right along the Delhi-Meerut Road. Being on the highway means we get a lot of noise from the passing traffic and a fair amount of dust coming in from the road. The area is mostly other factories and warehouses, so it’s a very practical place to be. We don’t have a fancy office with carpets; it’s mostly concrete floors and metal shelves here. We spend our days managing the site and making sure the supplies are moving in and out like they should. The commute from the city can be long, so we usually start our day early to beat the worst of the traffic. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved in our work, and the yard is usually full of materials waiting to be processed. We aren't much for polished talk or corporate slogans. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't fall behind on the schedule. The weather out here can be tough, either too hot or too muddy when it rains, but we just get on with it. Most of us bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small break area we’ve carved out near the back. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life, but we’re proud of the work we put in at Khasara 697. It is just us and the road.
