We’re over in Hapur, running this battery shop called Tarun Battery. It’s a small place, mostly filled with rows of heavy batteries for cars and bikes. We also have those big ones for home power backups because the electricity around here can be a bit unreliable sometimes. It’s mostly just me and a helper working here. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or dust from moving things around. The floor is concrete and has a few stains, but it’s a workshop, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time testing old batteries to see if they can be saved or if they’re just dead. People come in when their cars won't start, usually looking a bit frustrated. We try to get them sorted out as fast as we can so they can get back to their day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary. We’ve been here for several years, and we know most of the mechanics in the area. Sometimes they send people our way when there’s an electrical issue. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a simple board outside with the name on it. In the summers, it gets really hot in the shop, so we keep a big fan running all day. It’s noisy, but you stop noticing it after a while. We’re just local folks doing our job, day in and day out. It's enough for us.
