Sohan Machine Udyog

Sohan Machine Udyog is located in the Sekada Road Industrial Area in Modinagar. It’s an area filled with the sounds of metal hitting metal and the smell of grease. Our unit is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone on the street knows who we are. The shop is full of lathes and old tools that have seen a lot of use. We don't believe in throwing things away if they still work, so everything is well-maintained but definitely looks used. The walls are a bit stained from the oil, and the floor has its share of scuffs. We spend our days fixing parts or making new ones from scratch. It’s hard work on the hands and the back, but it feels good to finish a job. We usually have a few guys from the neighborhood working with us. We eat our tiffins together in the small space we cleared out in the back near the water cooler. Modinagar can get quite dusty, especially with all the trucks on Sekada Road, so we are always dusting off the workbenches. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone wants to talk to us, they just walk right into the workshop and find me or one of the boys. We handle things as they come. It’s not a fancy corporate life, just a real one where we get our hands dirty every single day. We take pride in the parts we finish.
