Singhal Shoe Traders

We are based at 26 D, Site IV, in the Kasna Industrial Area of Sector 31, Amrit Puram. Singhal Shoe Traders isn't really a place where you’d come to find the latest fashion. We are more of a wholesale and trading operation. The shop is more like a warehouse, filled with big brown boxes and the smell of new rubber. It is right in the middle of the industrial zone, so there are always trucks backing in and out and a lot of dust in the air. We spend a lot of our day checking manifests and moving stock around. It’s a big, open space with a high tin roof that gets really hot when the sun is out. We have a couple of large fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We deal with a lot of heavy-duty boots and safety shoes for the workers in the factories nearby. It is a lot of heavy lifting and counting boxes. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep our paperwork and an old telephone that rings a lot. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one for the kind of work we do. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers; it’s mostly scheduled pickups and deliveries. We just keep our heads down and make sure the orders are right every single day.
