Silver Oak Packaging Private Limited is located over at A-7/19 on the South Side of the G.T. Road Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means it’s always loud and there are trucks moving in and out all day long. Our facility is pretty much what you’d expect—lots of heavy machinery, stacks of cardboard, and rolls of tape. It gets pretty hot in the summer and the noise can be a bit much, but we’re used to it. We aren't a fancy office with a view; we’re a packaging plant where things actually get made. Our team is mostly made up of people from the nearby areas who have been with us for years. We don't have a lot of meetings or corporate retreats. We just show up, check the production schedule, and get the machines running. It’s straightforward work, but it’s important. If the packaging isn't right, nothing else matters for the products inside. We take it seriously, even if we don't use big words to describe it. There’s usually some grease on our hands and dust on our clothes by the end of the shift. We’re just a local business trying to do a good job and keep our heads above water. It’s not always easy, but we’ve built a decent life for ourselves here on the South Side.
