Goel Electricals

We are located at 176 Sihani Gate, right near the Navyug Market in Ghaziabad. If you know Ghaziabad, you know it is always moving and there is always a lot of noise. Our shop is full of boxes of wires, bulbs, and switches. They are stacked almost to the ceiling in some places. It is a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes. Being near Navyug Market means there are always people walking past. We have been at this spot for quite a while. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us. We don't have any air conditioning, just a big pedestal fan that blows the dust around. My father started things here and now we just keep it going. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We talk about the prices of things or how the electricity keeps tripping in the afternoons. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't do anything online or have a big website. We just sit on our stools and wait for someone to come in needing a spare part or a roll of wire. The floor is just plain cement and we sweep it every morning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do here in Ghaziabad.
