Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd.

Our place, Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd., is located over at L-30 in Lajpat Nagar. Being in Sahibabad means we are right in the middle of all the industrial noise and action in Ghaziabad. We spend our days dealing with parts, mostly pistons and rings obviously. The shop floor is usually loud and there is always a bit of grease on someone's hands. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. It’s a practical setup, nothing for show. We have the machines we need and the space to store the finished bits. Some days are faster than others depending on what’s needed. The commute into Sahibabad can be a real headache, especially when the trucks are backed up, but we make it work. We are not the type to sit in meetings all day. Usually, we are checking the inventory or making sure the equipment is running right. It’s honest work. We know the neighbors around Lajpat Nagar pretty well by now. Everyone is just trying to get their work done and keep things moving. We keep the gates open and the lights on until the late shift finishes. It isn't a high-tech lab, just a solid place where we make parts that go into engines. We take care of the machines so they take care of us. Often we just eat lunch at the desks and talk about what needs doing next.
