Shri Shyam Super Store

If you go down to the basement at Plot-401 in Sector-3, Vasundhara, you’ll find Shri Shyam Super Store. We are right near the Green Belt area in Ghaziabad. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the shops on the street level, which is nice in the summer. We call it a super store because we try to keep a bit of everything, from snacks to household cleaning stuff. It’s a bit of a walk down the stairs, but people don't seem to mind. The Green Belt nearby makes the air feel a little fresher. I spend my whole day down here under the lights. It can get a bit quiet in the middle of the afternoon, but then it picks up when people are coming home from their offices. We have organized the shelves as best as we could, though sometimes things get a bit jumbled when we get a big delivery. My son helps me with the computer work and keeping track of the prices. We have many regulars from the apartments nearby. They usually come in for milk or bread and stay to talk for a few minutes. It's a friendly place. We don't have any big advertisements. Word of mouth from the neighbors is how most people find us. It’s a decent little spot for the community. We just stay open and wait for the next customer to walk down the steps.
