Shri Ram General Store & Confecationery

I’ve been running the shop here at Mahagun Villa in Vaishali for a while now. It’s Shop No-1, right near the Mother Dairy booth. People stop by mostly for the basic stuff they run out of at home. We keep a lot of snacks and confectionery items because kids in Sector 4 are always looking for something sweet. It gets busy in the mornings when everyone is out getting milk. I try to keep the shelves stocked with whatever usually sells. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, and things get a bit messy behind the counter, but we manage. It’s just me and a helper usually. We know most of the faces around here by now. If you live in the apartments nearby, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We don’t have anything fancy, just the regular groceries and household things you need. The fans in here can be a bit loud during the summer. I usually spend my afternoons checking the dates on the biscuit packets. It’s a small space, so things are packed in pretty tight. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific brand of soap if it’s tucked away in the back. That’s just how it goes in a neighborhood store. We’re open most days from early until late evening. It’s a simple life running a store in Ghaziabad. Nothing too complicated about it. Just keeping the neighborhood supplied with their daily bits and pieces. I keep a notepad for people who want to pay at the end of the month.
