Shri Krishna Hospital

Shri Krishna Hospital is located over at D-494 in Lajpat Nagar, not too far from the Kali Mandir. If you are in the Rajender Nagar or Sahibabad area, you probably know the landmark. We’ve been here for quite some time, operating out of this building. It’s a local hospital, so things are pretty straightforward. We have beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for emergencies. It’s not a giant glass building like the ones in the city center. It’s more of a practical place where people come when they are sick or hurt. The hallways are narrow and we’ve got medical equipment tucked into the corners where it fits. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the place runs. Sometimes the power flickers, but the backup generator kicks in. You can hear the sounds from the street and the temple nearby, especially during festivals. We handle a bit of everything, from broken bones to fevers. The reception desk is usually a bit messy with forms and clipboards. We don’t have a fancy cafeteria, just a small spot to get tea. It’s a busy environment most days, but we manage to keep things moving. We’re just part of the neighborhood here in Lajpat Nagar, doing the work that needs to be done for the patients who walk through our doors at all hours.
