Our place is at H No-190 in Section 4 of Chiranjeev Vihar. It is a residential neighborhood, so the clinic feels very much like a home rather than a cold office. Most people who live around Chiranjeev Vihar know the street well and don't need a map to find us. We have the usual dental chairs and the smell of the stuff we use to clean teeth, which some people don't like, but it is necessary for the work. The windows look out onto the street and you can see people walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. It is a steady pace of work here. We start the day by checking the schedule and making sure the instruments are all set. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is just part of living in this area. We usually have some old magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait their turn. It is not a very large clinic, but we try to make use of every corner we have. The walls are painted a simple color to keep things looking neat. Usually, by the afternoon, things get a bit more hectic as people finish work and bring their children in. We don't do anything too fancy, just the regular dental work that people need. Some of us have worked here for years and we have seen kids grow up into adults who now bring their own families. It feels good to be part of the community like that.
