Shiv Cctv is over here at Plot No. 113 in Vijay Nagar. If you know where Kamala Palace is, we are just a short walk from there in Sector 9. We spend a lot of our time out on ladders or pulling cables through walls. It’s not the most glamorous work, but people in the neighborhood want to keep an eye on their shops and homes, so they call us. We’ve got a small office where we keep the stock of cameras and recorders. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to actually organize the shelves. We don't use any big words to explain how the cameras work. We just show people where the wires go and how to see the video on their phones. It’s mostly local families and small shopkeepers who come to us. We’ve been in this part of town for a while now and know most of the faces on the street. It’s a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We try to get to everyone’s place as fast as we can, but sometimes traffic around Kamala Palace gets in the way. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to do a decent job every day. We don't have any fancy brochures or big ads. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door and that is plenty for us.
