Quilled Paper Earrings

If you go up to the second floor at Plot 155 in Sakthi Khand 3, you will find our small workspace. We are right in the middle of Indrapuram, specifically in the Shipra Sun City part of the neighborhood. It is mostly just a few tables covered in tiny strips of colored paper and those little metal quilling tools we use. Quilled Paper Earrings started because someone in the family liked making small gifts for their friends, and it just kept growing from there until it became a business. It is a very small operation. Most of the time, the floor is covered in tiny paper scraps that are surprisingly hard to sweep up at the end of the day. We spend many hours sitting there rolling and shaping the paper into all sorts of different designs. It is quiet work, and we usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep us company. We do not have a storefront with glass windows or anything like that. It is more of a workshop where we get the orders ready and pack them into little boxes for shipping. Sometimes our fingers get a bit cramped from all the fine movements, but that is just part of the job. We try to use good glue so nothing falls apart, but paper is still paper and it can be delicate. Neighbors sometimes drop by to pick up something they saw on our page. We are not a factory, just a few people working.
