We are situated at 791 on the first floor, right along the Delhi-Meerut Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is constant traffic and the sound of horns blowing all day long. Being on the first floor is good because we can see everything happening outside, but it can be a bit of a climb if the stairs are crowded. Shakunthlam Enterprises is a straightforward business where we handle various trade and supply tasks. Our office isn't very big, and it’s often filled with the smell of tea and old paper. We have a few desks squeezed in and a lot of ledgers because we still like to keep track of some things the old-fashioned way. The Delhi-Meerut Road is a main artery, so we get people stopping by all the time asking for directions or looking for our neighbors. We’ve had to fix the front door a few times because it catches on the floor, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. But it’s our space and we get a lot done here. We don't use fancy titles or have long meetings. We just talk about what orders came in and who is delivering them. It’s a basic, honest operation and we’ve been part of this roadside community for a good while now. We just take each day as it comes and keep the business moving.
