Sarvodaya Hospital & Research Centre

Sarvodaya Hospital & Research Centre at K. J - 7 in Kavi Nagar is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a place built on hard work and a lot of coffee. We have the hospital side for patients and a research side for the more technical work. It’s all housed in the same complex in Kavi Nagar. The neighborhood is pretty quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice for the patients who are staying with us. We don’t have a fancy PR team, so what you see is what you get. The walls are painted a standard off-white and the floors are always being mopped. Our doctors and nurses are local people for the most part. They know the area and the people who live here. We see a lot of the same faces over and over again, which makes it feel a bit like a big family, even if it’s a hospital. We have all the usual equipment and we try to keep it in good shape. It’s not about being trendy or having the newest furniture. It’s about making sure the oxygen is ready and the beds are clean. We deal with the stress and the long shifts because it’s the job we chose. K. J - 7 is a busy spot during the day, but we keep the wheels turning as best as we can. It is a long day every day.
