Sanjay International

Working out of 25-B in the Mohan Nagar Industrial Area, Sanjay International is where we spend most of our waking hours. The name sounds quite big, but we are a grounded group of people working in a fairly dusty part of town. Our building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial unit with a heavy gate. Inside, it’s a lot of packing and checking lists. We deal with various items that go out to different places, sometimes quite far away. The morning starts early here because the trucks like to beat the traffic on the main road. If you come by around ten, you’ll probably see us drinking tea near the loading bay while we wait for the next delivery. We’ve got a few machines that hum all day, and you sort of get used to the vibration after a while. My father used to say that as long as the floor is busy, things are okay. We don't have a fancy reception area or a person in a suit to greet you. Usually, it’s just one of us with a clipboard and a pen behind the ear. We’ve had some staff stay with us for over ten years now. We know the local chai wallah by name and he knows exactly how many sugars we take. It’s just a steady, working-class life here in Mohan Nagar.
