This shop is located at R 2/240 in RDC, Raj Nagar, right near the Hint Chowk area in Ghaziabad. Being at such a busy intersection means there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We have been here for a bit now, providing hair services to the people who work and live in the 201002 area. Inside, it’s just the usual stuff—chairs, mirrors, and the smell of various hair products and soaps. The day starts with us opening the shutters and setting up the stations. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but we are used to it by now. We see a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks or right after they finish for the day. Hint Chowk is always noisy, but inside the shop, it’s a bit more relaxed, even when all the chairs are occupied. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; it’s just cutting hair and trimming beards. The sink is always running and there is usually a pile of towels that needs folding. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long, especially on the weekends when it gets crowded. It’s a practical place for a quick trim or a shave. We know the local rhythms of the street and just try to keep up with the daily flow of customers. It is just a normal life here at the salon.
