Safety Shoes India is based out of a building at H-232 in Raj Nagar 2. It’s not a big retail store with glass windows or bright displays, it’s more of a place where we keep our stock and handle all the logistics. We deal with all kinds of protective footwear for workers who need them. There are stacks of cardboard boxes everywhere you look inside the space. Steel-toed boots, heavy-duty soles, and tough leather shoes take up most of the room from floor to ceiling. The smell of new rubber and leather is quite strong when you first walk in through the door. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the right sizes get sent out to the customers. It can get a bit disorganized during the busy weeks when new shipments arrive from the factory. My desk is usually buried under a pile of invoices, receipts, and shipping labels. The neighborhood around here is mostly residential, so it’s quiet enough during the day while we work. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know what we do. It’s a bit of a squeeze moving between the aisles of boxes sometimes when we are looking for a specific pair. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to browse in. Most people find us through word of mouth or if they need specific gear for their jobs. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the shoes are sturdy enough for the hard work they have to do.
