The traffic on G.T. Road is something else. If you’ve ever been to this part of the industrial area, you know what I mean. Rathi Udyog Ltd. is tucked away at A-3, and sometimes it feels like we’re right in the middle of all that chaos. It’s noisy and there’s always a bit of smoke or dust in the air. We’ve been at this South of G.T. Road location for a long time. The building is old, and the stairs creak a bit when you walk up to the main office. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. There are some old calendars on the walls and stacks of ledgers that probably should have been put away years ago. It’s a practical place. We focus on the work, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and coordinating with drivers. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the busiest part of our day. We send someone over every couple of hours. Working here at A-3, you see the same faces every morning. It’s a tight-knit group. We don't have any big speeches or grand plans. We just try to get the orders out and keep the equipment running. Sometimes things break down and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to fix it. That’s just life at Rathi Udyog Ltd. in this industrial belt.
