Jhankar Palace

Jhankar Palace is located at 3rd A 44 in Nehru Nagar, right along Rakesh Marg. It’s a building that most people around here recognize. We use the space for all kinds of local gatherings and events. It’s not a brand-new place; the floors have some scratches and the paint is a little dull in the corners, but it’s a solid spot. Most of our days are spent moving chairs around or making sure the lights are working properly for the next person who needs the space. Rakesh Marg is a busy road, so there’s always the sound of horns and cars passing by outside. We have a small office near the front where we keep the booking diary. It’s an old-fashioned paper book, and we use a lot of pens to keep things updated. Sometimes people come by just to see the space and we walk them through the different rooms. It can get quite hot in the summer, so we have large fans that we move around to keep things moving. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because they live in Nehru Nagar or they’ve been here for a party before. We just try to keep the place clean and ready for whoever comes in next. It’s a lot of manual work, and we are usually tired by the end of the day, but that’s just how it is.
