Poddar Nursing Home

We’ve been here at Patel Nagar 1 in Ghaziabad for quite some time now. Our building sits at J 62/64, which isn't too far from the Old Bus Stand, so people usually find us without much trouble. The area stays pretty busy throughout the day with people coming and going. Inside, the place feels like a typical nursing home. There are always files stacked up at the front desk and someone is usually on the phone answering questions about appointments. The hallways aren't very wide, but we keep things moving as well as we can. Our nurses are usually running around between rooms, making sure everyone is okay. It gets a bit loud when the bus stand traffic picks up in the afternoon, but you get used to the noise after a while. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby colonies. We know many of them by name now because they’ve been coming to us for years. It’s a practical setup here. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. The chairs in the waiting area are basic, and the walls have stayed the same color for ages. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud hum. That’s just part of life in this part of Ghaziabad. We just focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the doctors have what they need to work. It is a long day for everyone, but we start early and stay until the last person is seen.
