We are based in the Aastha Apartment II building, specifically at B 1 S 3 in Shalimar Garden Extension I. This is in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad. It is basically a residential apartment that we use for our work. This means it has a kitchen and a bathroom just like a home, which is actually quite convenient. We’ve set up our desks in what would normally be the living room and bedrooms. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in the office at the same time. The balcony overlooks the rest of the apartment complex, and we often see our neighbors drying laundry or talking. It’s a very local vibe here. Parking can be a real struggle because the lanes are narrow and there are lots of cars. We usually walk to the main road if we need to grab a snack or some stationery. The building is a bit older, so the walls have some cracks and the doors sometimes creak. We don't mind it much. It’s a practical way to have an office without the high costs of a commercial tower. We spend our days typing away and chatting over tea. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Uttar Pradesh. Most people who visit us are surprised at how domestic the office feels. We usually have a stray cat that hangs out near our front door waiting for scraps.
