Hearth Ceramics

Our workshop is at 961 Niti Khand 1 in the Indirapuram area. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Kuppai Medu, specifically on the backside of the Dunlop Ground. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits the kind of work we do with ceramics. There is usually a layer of fine clay dust on most of the surfaces, which is just part of the job. We have shelves filled with different pieces, from tiles to smaller pots and plates. It isn't a showroom with glass cases; it is a place where things are actually made and handled. We spend a lot of time moving heavy crates and checking the kilns. The air in here often smells like damp earth and fire. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just make the ceramics and wait for people to come by and pick them up. The ground nearby often has people playing cricket, and we can hear them while we work. It’s a peaceful enough location for a business like ours. We don't mind the occasional mess or the stacks of raw materials in the corners. It is just part of the process of working with clay. We have been here for a while and the locals know us by now. We just take it one day at a time.
