Our place is House No. J/249, over in Sector-23, Sanjay Nagar. That’s in Ghaziabad, U.P. It’s a bit of a residential-looking area, but we’ve got our clothing business running right out of here. We deal with garments and textiles mostly. The house is always full of fabric scraps and different patterns lying around. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just part of making clothes. We have a few machines going and people busy sewing or packing things up. It’s a real family-style atmosphere even though we’re a private limited company. We don’t have a big fancy storefront in a mall. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they know where we are in Sanjay Nagar. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we have a big batch of shirts or trousers to finish. Sometimes we stay late into the night just to make sure the boxes are ready for the truck in the morning. Ghaziabad can get pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going full blast while we work. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion brand you see on TV. We just make solid clothes that people can actually wear. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. We’ve been in this sector for years and the neighbors are used to the hum of the machines by now.
