Our place, Nrityangan, is over at Plot No. 137 in Vaishali Sec-4. It’s a bit tucked away in Sahibabad, but it’s not too hard to find if you know the area. The building is a simple one, nothing too flashy on the outside. We’ve been at this address for quite a few years now. Inside, we’ve got some mirrors and a decent floor, which is really all you need. I spend most of my evenings here making sure everything is running smoothly. Sometimes the lights in the hallway flicker a bit, but we’ll get around to fixing that eventually. It’s a local spot where neighbors come to hang out and learn. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us keeping things going. The rain can be a bit loud on the roof when it pours, but it actually sounds quite nice with the music. We mostly deal with people from around Sec-4 who just walk over. It makes the place feel very lived-in. I like that it’s not some big polished center. It’s just a space where people can be themselves. We usually have tea during the breaks and just talk about whatever is happening in Vaishali. It’s a humble little spot on Plot 137, and we’re happy to be here. I usually lock up around nine at night and walk home.
