New Jyoti Batteries

Our shop is located at 197 Ambedkar Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic passing by all day long. We deal with all sorts of batteries, mostly for cars and those big ones people use for power backups at home. Ambedkar Road is a noisy place, so there is always someone honking outside while we are trying to test a battery or explain something to a customer. We have stacks of heavy batteries along the walls, and the floor is concrete because these things are quite heavy. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the terminals and cables. It’s not a clean office job, but it’s what we do. People come in when their car won't start or when the lights go out at home and their inverter stops working. We try to help them out as quickly as we can. It’s been a few years since we set up here at number 197. Some days are slow, and we just sit on the stools watching the street, but other times it’s one person after another. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the equipment. We keep a few basic tools around and some distilled water for topping up the cells. It is just a straightforward shop for people in this part of town who need their power fixed and their vehicles running properly.
